Being In Love
I miss being in love, that sacred Logos
between a woman and a man, a goddess
and a god, between two souls unmasked.
I miss the smile on my lover’s face
when she sees me. The joy of my heart
in return. Our first touch each day.
I miss being in love, waking up in the
embrace of another beautiful day with
no attention given to the weather.
I miss wishing you goodnight as
